Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. How long does it take to install a sauna or steam room?

Installation time varies based on complexity. A prefabricated sauna typically takes 1-2 days, while custom or commercial installations may require 3-7 days. Steam rooms, due to plumbing and tiling, often take 4-10 days depending on size and customization.

2. Do you offer free consultations and quotes?

4. What brands of saunas and steam rooms do you service?

We service all major brands, including Harvia, Tylo, Amerec, Steamist, Mr.Steam, Almost Heaven, and more. Whether it’s a high-end commercial unit or a budget-friendly home model, we have the expertise to handle it.

5. How often should I maintain my sauna or steam room?

For optimal performance and longevity, we recommend:

  • Home units: Annual professional maintenance
  • Commercial units: Bi-annual or quarterly maintenance, depending on usage
  • DIY upkeep: Clean surfaces after each use, check water levels (for steam rooms), and inspect seals monthly.

6. Can you repair an old or outdated sauna/steam room?

Y

  1. We specialize in reviving and modernizing older systems. Whether it’s replacing outdated heaters, upgrading controls, or improving insulation, we can extend the life of your existing unit significantly.

7. What’s the difference between a dry sauna and a steam room?

  • Dry Sauna: Uses electric or wood-burning heaters to produce dry heat (70-100°C / 158-212°F) with low humidity (10-20%). Ideal for detoxification and muscle relaxation.
  • Steam Room: Uses a steam generator to create high humidity (100%) at lower temperatures (40-60°C / 104-140°F). Excellent for respiratory health and skin hydration.

8. Do you provide warranties on your work?

Y

  1. All installations and repairs come with a 12-month workmanship warranty. Additionally, we use high-quality parts that carry their own manufacturer warranties (typically 1-2 years).

9. How can I improve the energy efficiency of my sauna?

To reduce energy costs:

  • Ensure proper insulation (walls, ceiling, door)
  • Use energy-efficient heaters (infrared saunas consume less power)
  • Install a timer to limit heating time
  • Regularly clean and maintain the unit to prevent inefficiencies

10. Do you offer emergency repair services?

Yes, we provide 24/7 emergency repair services for critical issues like electrical faults, water leaks, or complete system failures. Call us immediately, and we’ll dispatch a technician as soon as possible. Emergency call-out fees apply (see cost table above).
